BotMate is an online based web application when helps you build and deploy Telegram bots. By default it comes with two free bot slots, if you want more bots to host, you can purchase additional slots using Snow. One slot will cost 500 snow.

In order to design your bot, you must have a bot's token ready. You can create a Telegram bot from @BotFather and get it's token.

Next step is to create an account on BotMate, if you don't have already. After you login to your dashboard, you can go to Bots section, and click on "Add bot" then paste your bot's token and hit submit.

After you add a bot, it will appear in your bot's list. Here you can see all your bots, and click on the bot you want to manage.

After you open a bot, you will see your bot's dashboard. In BotMate, you create commands for your bot. A command is any string which is matched when a user sends a message to your bot. After it matches the command, depending on the conditions, BotMate will execute the command.

Now, let's try to add a command. For that, go to "Commands" section, then click on "Add command" button. You will be prompted with a new window asking you to enter command details.

Next, we will fill out the form, let's call the command "Start", and command should be "/start". And in the "Reply Message" you can enter your start message. Like, "Hello, How are you? Thanks for using the bot."

Next, hit "Submit" and it will create a command for you, now go to your bot and send /start, you will see your message appear.

It it doesn't work, check if your bot status is on or off from your bot's dashboard homepage.
